MasterTuning is a file service for workshops. You send us the ECU read, we send back the calibrated file — written by a technician, checked against the original, and matched to the exact hardware and software version of the vehicle in front of you. No subscription is required to open an account: you buy credits and use them when you need them.

Performance tuning
Calibrations written on the original map, not generic patches. Every file is built for the specific engine, gearbox and ECU software version, and keeps the factory safety strategies in place.
CarsStage 1 – Cars
Optimisation on a completely standard vehicle. The most requested job: no mechanical modification needed, torque delivery improved across the usable rev range.
CarsStage 2 – Cars
For vehicles that already carry hardware changes, typically on the exhaust or intake. The map is written around the parts actually fitted.
CarsStage 3 – Cars
Heavily modified engines: upgraded turbo, injectors, intercooler. Handled case by case, with the specification agreed before the work starts.
Heavy dutyTrucks & agricultural machinery
Stage 1 calibrations for commercial vehicles, tractors and industrial engines, where torque at low revs and fuel consumption matter more than peak power.
TransmissionGearbox – Stage 1 and Stage 2
DSG and automatic transmission tuning: torque limiters, shift speed, clamping pressure and launch behaviour, aligned to the engine calibration.
FuelE85 flexfuel conversion
Calibration for ethanol blends, with fuelling and ignition adapted to the fuel actually used.
ECU and TCU services
Beyond tuning, the jobs a workshop runs into every week — the ones that keep a car on the ramp when the tooling or the original file is missing.
IMMO OFF, ECU and TCU cloning
Immobiliser handling and virgin-unit cloning when a control unit is replaced, so the new module matches the vehicle.
Back to stock
Return to the original factory calibration, from our archive or from your own read.
Airbag crash data clean
Crash records cleared from the airbag control unit after a repair.
File check
Send us a modified file and we tell you what has been changed in it before you write it to the car.
TDI injector knock patch
Correction for injector knocking on TDI engines, supplied together with the Stage 1 calibration.
EDC17C69 white smoke repair
Specific fix for the FCA white smoke fault on EDC17C69 control units.
Diagnostics and emissions systems
Work on the after-treatment systems — DPF/FAP, EGR, AdBlue/SCR, swirl flaps, lambda sensors — and on the OBD monitoring that goes with them.
After-treatment systems
Interventions on DPF/FAP, EGR, AdBlue/SCR, swirl flaps and lambda circuits, evaluated case by case on the specific control unit.
OBD emissions monitoring
Correction of readiness and monitoring behaviour where the diagnosis calls for it.
Oil pressure strategy
Solution for oil pressure management faults on the engines where this is a known pattern.
A note on emissions equipment. Removing or disabling after-treatment devices is not permitted on vehicles used on public roads in the European Union and in many other countries. These services are supplied for motorsport, off-road and export use, or where local legislation allows them. It remains the responsibility of the workshop and of the vehicle owner to verify what is permitted in their own country before requesting the work.
How it works
1
Open an account
Registration is free. You buy credits and spend them per job, with no monthly commitment.
2
Read the ECU
Use your own tool — the catalogue tells you which protocol and which reading method apply to that vehicle.
3
Upload the file
Attach the read, pick the service and add any notes: fault codes, modifications already fitted, what the customer is asking for.
4
Write it to the car
You get the calibrated file back, ready to write, with support available if anything needs adjusting.
Why workshops work with us
Files written for the exact ECU
Every job is matched to the hardware and software number of the control unit, not to a generic model entry. The ECU catalogue covers 22,968 vehicles.
Power figures before you quote
The vehicle database gives stock and tuned power and torque for 17,863 configurations, so you can tell the customer what to expect before the car arrives.
Credits, not subscriptions
You buy credits and use them when the work comes in. Volume packages bring the unit cost down — see the price list.
Support in your language
The platform and the support run in 8 languages, and the technician who writes your file is the one who answers your questions on it.
Your own brand, if you want it
Workshops that resell the service can run it under their own name, with their own pricing and their own customer accounts.
A real archive behind it
Original files, firmware identifiers and ECU documentation built up over years of work, not scraped from a forum.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a subscription?
No. You buy credits and spend them per job. Larger packages lower the cost per file, but nothing is billed monthly.
Which reading tool do I need?
Any of the common tools on the market. The ECU catalogue tells you which protocols and reading methods apply to a given vehicle, so you know before you start whether OBD is enough or the unit has to come out.
What if the file does not behave as expected?
Send it back with the read taken after the write and a description of what the car is doing. Revisions on a job we supplied are part of the service.
Can I see the power gain before accepting the job?
Yes. The vehicle database lists stock and tuned power and torque for 17,863 configurations, so you can quote with real figures.
Do you work on trucks, tractors and marine engines?
Yes. Commercial vehicles, agricultural machinery and marine engines are covered alongside cars and motorcycles.
Can I resell the service under my own name?
Yes. Workshops can run the platform with their own branding, their own pricing and their own customer accounts.
Still deciding? Talk to us — tell us what you work on and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
